OH MY GOD! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT"S FINALLY HAPPENED!!!! I NEVER IMAGINED...

(sigh)...yeah, even I can't fake surprise over this "shocking announcement".

The interesting thing now will be: can she get her career back now that her producers and handlers have re-taken the reins? Or is she forever destined to milk legacy sales of "Hit Me Baby One More Time" while spiraling down through various levels of reality-TV hell?

Of course, we already know where *he's* going...

My theory is that her clock got ticking early due to some sort of genetic problem, but she didn't actually want to be burdened with a husband. So she went looking for someone with good bone structure who was fertile and so stupid that America wouldn't feel sorry for him more than her when she left him. K.Fed is a "check" on all accounts.

Sure, she could have just had the kids out of wedlock, but she didn't want the scandal.
